I'm writing this post on one of those days.

You know the kind, when the unexpected happens and what you're expecting doesn't; when plan after plan seems to go wrong; when you wish you had a giant reset button to bang your head against; when you wonder why you bothered to get out of bed in the first place

It was actually "one of those days" in a series of "those days." I submitted something and had it rejected. I started a project and was met with delays. I had the oddest things happen to me as I attempted to transfer my blog to another platform (read about my blog woes here) and I had reason after reason to just give up, reach for my footy pajamas and retreat.

But thankfully, before I began looking for a suitable corner to crawl into, I realized that it must have been finals week. I've learned some things about perseverance and patience and faith, and apparently, it was time to, as they say, show and prove. I can't say I scored an A+ on all of the week's tests, but I sure didn't fail. It helped to have a Study Buddy whispering the answers in my ear and He's prepping me for the next test as we speak.

"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:9

"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" Ephesians 6:13
