Freedom to Choose

I should turn that into a t-shirt.
It's the mantra I live by when it comes to making choices about my life, my goals, my dreams, my call. It's my Plan A, B and C; my go-to-guy; my default setting.
There's massive freedom in knowing that, while I could make a particular decision, the answer to whether I should make that decision doesn't end with me. I get to bring my decisions to the Master decision maker. He has seen my life from beginning to end. He knows what lies ahead and I find great liberty in putting my trust in that knowledge and His great love for me.
That's freedom to me--having the right to do it my way but the privilege to do it his. It's not always easy and it's often downright un-fun, but I wouldn't choose to live any other way.
"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." Galatians 2:20
