Just Call Me DOUBTfire!

Do I have doubts? Why, sure!

I doubt that a world as complex, unique, and beautifully crafted as ours, could have happened by chance instead of design.

I doubt that the Bible is just a collection of irrelevant dusty old stories written thousands of years ago instead of one life-changing and shockingly cohesive story written over the course of thousands of years by guided hands and inspired hearts.

I doubt that it was an accident that Jesus often answered questions about his divinity, by answering, “I am.”

I doubt that those disciples would have come out of that locked room so soon after Jesus’ crucifixion, unless they had heard some emboldening news.

I doubt that the disciples would have been so brazen in telling everyone about Jesus if they weren’t convinced that their dearly loved Brother had just taken the sting out of death. (Forever).

I doubt that the things that I still have questions about will remain forever unanswered.

I doubt that my questions are a hindrance to my faith.

I doubt that your questions are much of a threat to your faith either.

Do I have doubts? Yes I do. And you should too.

Doubts are good for the soul.

“Call to me and I will answer you, and show you great and hidden things that you have not known.” – Jeremiah 33:3
