I declare that I was called to be free, (Galatians 5:13)
and that Christ set us free to live a free life. (Galatians 5:1)
I declare that I am nothing apart from Christ, (John 15:5)
yet through Him I can do all things. (Philipians 4:13)
I declare I do not live by bread alone,
but by the very Word of God. (Matthew 4:4)
I declare I was made by Him and for Him, ( Colossians 1:16)
That in Him I live and move and have my being - that I am His child. (Acts 17:28)
I declare God is the source of life. (John 1:4)
I declare that it is not good for man to live alone, (Genesis 2:18)
And I am part of the Bride of Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:2)
I depend on God alone and put my hope in Him,
For all power belongs to Him, and His love is constant. (Psalm 62: 5, 11-12)
Lord, would the independent nature of our culture and country not prevent us from turning towards You, trusting you and depending on You everyday, for true freedom is found in Christ alone.
