Favorite Authors/Books

It was C.S. Lewis who said, “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”  C.S. and I have that in common, although I can go with either tea or coffee. 

Being the granddaughter of a children’s librarian and the daughter of two avid readers, it’s no surprise that reading is a love of mine.   I adore curling up in my comfiest chair, with my softest blanket and favorite mug, imagination unbridled as my brain converts words into pictures and emotions and insights.

 

But how do we choose what to read--which books, which authors?  Whose words stay with us?    What books could we pick up over and over again and never tire of reading?
