One Decision

In
the grand scheme of life, a mist that
appears for a little while and then vanishes (James 4:14), there really is
only one decision that truly matters.
One.
It’s
not where you go to college. It’s not
which career path you should take. It’s
not who you choose for a spouse.
It
matters more than all of the other decisions you make in your entire life combined.
Yes, it is THAT important. Even if you choose not to decide, you have
made a decision.
You
can choose to believe all of the human teachings out there, everything from
“There is no God” to “You are God” to “There is no Heaven or Hell” to “So long
as I’m a good person I’ll be okay.” OR,
you can choose to believe The One Who Created Heaven and Hell And The Way To
Get To Either Place.
You
can choose to believe that Jesus was a really great guy, even a prophet, or you
can believe He is the Son of God, the Savior of Mankind.
But
it’s not enough just to believe. Even
the demons believe Jesus is the Son of God, but He is not their Lord and Savior.
They haven’t surrendered their lives to
him. YOUR BELIEF ABOUT JESUS AND WHAT
YOU DO WITH IT is the most important decision you will ever make in your entire
life. My friends, ETERNITY is at
stake, here. (BTW, I’ve read the travel
brochures. Heaven is WAAAAY better. Just sayin’.)
If
you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9
Repent
and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the
forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to
gain that which he cannot lose." Jim
