"You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever." Psalm 30:11-12
As I sat down to write this unconventional devotional blog, a song continued to come to mind. It became my theme song for the week. And I would listen to it on repeat as I wrote. The song is called “Joy Comes in the Morning.” An incredible woman wrote it, who lives just down the hallway from me – take a left at the kitchen, veer right at the washing machine. The story behind the song is even more incredible. I invite you to take a few minutes and meet my roommate, Kate, in the videos below. Hear her story of great JOY and healing from Lyme's disease!
Dear Sara,
Thank you so much for wanting to spend time with me this week and get to know me better. There was much left unsaid, but I look forward to our future chats! I'll bring the strawberries.
Love Always,
Joy
P.S. I'll see you in the morning!
Kate's incredible song was not available to listen for free...but you can find the lyrics and more at katehurleymusic.com!
