Love WHO???

There
are some things that I wish weren’t in the Bible; things like the fall of man, Herod
killing the baby boys in Bethlehem, and some parts of The Law that have to do
with mold and illness.
The
one I probably like the least is Jesus’ command to love your enemies. I mean, REALLY? COME ON!
The LAST thing I want to do is LOVE a person who is plotting my downfall
and making my life miserable. If I’m being
honest, I would rather smack them upside the head as look at them.
But,
Jesus says to love them. There must be a
good reason…but what? There must be a way…but how?
I’m
looking forward to my Daily Fast Fuel sisters helping us figure it out.
Then
maybe the upsides of my enemies’ heads will be safe.
