God Demonstrates His Love

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

If I know anything about the love of God, it's that it's tangible. His love is active and potent and visible and He demonstrates His love in big ways.

Everyday.

He's demonstrated His love when I've been unable to receive it;

When I flat-out rejected it;

Before I even knew I needed it.

He demonstrates His love by offering my new mercies everyday;

Showing me ridiculous favor;

And overtaking me with blessing after blessing after blessing.

His love is deep and thick and real, and He demonstrates that love in ways that I can barely comprehend. How he continues to love me, through all of my humanness, is so far beyond me. Yet, this demonstration of love is exactly what I need to live beyond my humanness. Everyday.
