Study Together

God is so tremendous, and so inexplicable, that one person on their own cannot possibly conceive all of him, all on their own. That is why it is important to study the Word TOGETHER. When we read together and study together, and then share what we see, we each get a bigger vision of God than we started with.

Here’s how to do it!

Grab a Bible buddy. Grab a Bible. Read. Discuss. (Rinse repeat).

And here’s the fun news! While I do love me some Beth Moore and Henry Blackaby, I also love that I don’t need a fancy budget (or even any budget) to find a great Bible study. Next time you are reading the Good Word with your Bible Buddy, ask yourselves the following three questions (borrowed from the Rev. Dave Handley of Evanston, IL!):

1) What does this verse tell me about God?

2) What does this verse tell me about myself?

3) Why is this verse coming to me at this time?

Then, sit back and enjoy the view as God comes more into focus for both you and your buddy…together.
