Seeking Direction

One
of the most encouraging verses I’ve found when seeking direction is Isaiah
30:21, Your ears will hear a word behind
you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the
left. (NASB) There IS a voice – God’s voice. We WILL hear it. He WILL guide us, inform us, direct us. With all due respect to my dear Heavenly Father, the path isn’t always as easy to negotiate as simply Turn Right or Turn Left. Sometimes we wander and don’t know why. Other times we can’t seem to get out of reverse. Sometimes we have difficulty interpreting the road signs. Occasionally, a mountain in our path seems overwhelming. And sometimes we simply struggle to let go of control over the journey.
