Simply Ephesians

God's Word has been helpful to me in my journey with the King in filling my heart with words to pray, when I'm not quite sure what to say. Here's one of my favorite prayers from Ephesians, Message style. My prayer for each of us today:

I ask him to strengthen us by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in us as we open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, we'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love.

Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.

God can do anything, we know—far more than we could ever imagine or guess or request in our wildest dreams!

Ephesians 3:15-20
